Dragon's Nostrils & Sea Caves Hiking Tour
Vendor: My Hiking Ohana
Category: Hiking
Location: Oahu

Daily at 10am - 4 Hours

Makapu'u Head Trail rewards one with magnificent views of the windward coast and offshore islets, as well as the historic red-roofed Makapu'u Lighthouse built in 1909, which makes a stunning picture against the deep blue sea below (the lighthouse itself is off-limits). On a clear day, you may even see Molokai and Lanai. The offshore islets are wildlife sanctuaries for Hawaiian seabirds. This trail is an excellent place to view migrating humpback whales in season (December-April).

Then hike down a 600' sea cliff to the dragons nostrils (blowhole), tidepools & sea cave. See the throne of a Hawaiian god.

Then off to visit one of the few blowholes on the island which leads to a secret Oahu beach more commonly known as Eternity Beach for an infamous beach scene in a romantic 1950's Hollywood movie. Or Cockroach cove to the locals. Here you'll find swimming, laying on the beach and cliff jumping for all ages.
